ASA Philippines is a non-profit, non-stock corporation specializing in microfinance. The first branch that the foundation started with was in Camarin, Caloocan in August 2004, and as of today the foundation has already expanded its operations nationwide. The foundation caters to more than 1.8 million clients who are called by ASA as Micro Entrepreneurs.

Micro-Business Financing
The goal of this program is to sustain the existing microbusinesses of poor entrepreneurial women, and increase self-employment in the community. In this particular product, we offer financing of Php 1,000 to Php 49,000, which is payable within six months, and Php 50,000 to Php 300,000, which is payable within twelve months.

Agricultural Financing (AgriFin)
The goal of this program is to support the agriculture sector as well as uplift the rural community. We offer financing of Php 1,000 to Php 49,000; payable within six months, and Php 50,000 to Php 300,000; payable within twelve months.

Islamic Microfinancing (IMF)
The goal of this program is to provide equal access to financing in the community regardless of culture and religion. This was launched particularly to accommodate our Muslim sisters who deem the payment of interest on loans as contrary to Islamic principles, and yet this is also accessible to non-Muslims. In this program, we offer sale-based Murabahah financing, the first-ever Shari’ah Compliant Microfinancing Credit Facility in the Philippines, which finances halal activities, and goods or equipment. The program financing we offer ranges from Php 1,000 to Php 49,000; payable within six month.

Water and Sanitation Financing (WaSaFin)
The goal of this program is to provide access to clean water and sanitized facilities, and achieve the ZERO OPEN DEFECATION in the community. This was launched in collaboration with Water.Org. In this program, we offer loans of Php 4,000 to Php 30,000, payable within twelve months. This program is one of the Subsidiary Financing programs, which is offered only to our existing clients.

Home Financing (HomFin)
The goal of this program is to elevate the living conditions of families in the community. In this program, we offer loans of Php 10,000 to Php 150,000, payable within twelve months. This program is one of the Subsidiary Financing programs, which is offered only to our existing clients.

Solar Home System & Electrical Financing
The goal of this program is to make electricity accessible to the community, especially in the far-flung areas. In this program, we offer loans of Php 4,000 to Php 30,000, payable within twelve months. This program is one of the Subsidiary Financing programs, which is offered only to our existing clients.

Educational Financing (EducFin)
The goal of this program is for the clients to send their children to school without affecting the sustainability of their businesses. This also aims to minimize the out-of-school youth in the country that may help in poverty alleviation. In this program, we offer loans of Php 4,000 to Php 20,000, payable within twelve months. This program is one of the Subsidiary Financing programs, which is offered only to our existing clients.

MalASAkit/Qard Hassan
The goal of this program is to revive micro-businesses of poor entrepreneurial women struck by calamity, and improve their living on the basis of benevolence. This is an interest-free loan extended to our existing clients. In this program, we offer loans of Php 1,000 to Php 20,000, payable within twelve months. This program is offered only to our existing clients.
